Mat and I spent much of yesterday exploring Middle Head, visiting myriad of abandon forts, hidden tracks and hidey holes fit for any curious explorers. It was such a perfect summer day, hoping we will have a couple more weekends like this before Autumn takes over.

We didn't find any fairies but were greeted by lots of butterflies.
I love seeing plants sprouted in the most unlikely places.
Everything seems to be connected by tunnels and hidden stairwells.

this is soooo awesome!! you have inspired me to go out and explore some abandoned places. although, it's snowing here so i may have to wait a little while... my favorite part has to be the little bun - probably because i'm VERY partial ;)
ReplyDeleteYou should definitely start exploring, well once it's warmer I guess or you'll be frozen... There were so many bunnies out there, you would have loved it.
